Long-Suffering Elephant Nosey Is Finally in Caring Hands!

Tonight, we’re celebrating a victory for Nosey, an elephant who’s been abused for years by notorious animal exhibitor Hugo Liebel.

This week, she was found tightly chained, kept in her own waste, and without proper shelter in Moulton, Alabama. Local authorities seized her, and today, the Lawrence County District Court decided to transfer this long-suffering elephant into caring hands. PETA pledges to continue working in her behalf until she’s finally settled into a spacious sanctuary home.

Since 2012, nearly 2 MILLION actions have been taken for Nosey. That is truly incredible, and your work is paying off. Thank you for speaking up for Nosey and for all animals!

Sincerely,

We Can’t Believe He’s STILL Exploiting Nosey

Liebel has withheld food from her during „training,“ shackled her with chains so short that she could barely move, and abused and exploited her in many other ways—all while she likely suffers from debilitating and painful arthritis.

In fact, an elephant expert has characterized her case as „the worst, most prolonged, documented example of an uncorrected case of suffering and abuse in an elephant [that he’s] ever reviewed.“

Ask the Kewanna Fall Festival not to allow Nosey to appear at the event—and to commit to hosting only animal-free entertainment in the future.
