The picture below is a clear indication that the breeding of greyhounds in China has spiralled out of control. Sadly greyhounds are being found within the Chinese meat trade, and primarily it’s down to the Irish, UK and Australian racing industries that have allowed greyhounds to be exported to China, in the first place.

Below is the inteception by Caged NationWide of Irish Greyhound Breeders/owners sending 24 greyhounds to China via the UK, Caged NW activists were assaulted by the exporters as they attempted to stop the dogs being exported.

What do these three dogs have in common? They were all rescued from dog meat farms in South Korea.

Sophie was rescued along with 149 other dogs suffering in the worst way. She is now enjoying a life of never wondering when her next meal will be—and dinnertime is her most treasured time of the day. Everyone she meets is shocked with just how high she can jump to get snacks!

This is Shadow. She was rescued in the dead of winter when she endured the freezing cold day after day. Today, she enjoys the warmth of her very own home with the love of her family and two feline siblings, Jimmy and Peggy.

Scooter was just a young puppy when we rescued him. His cage mate, Sophie, was the only companion he’d ever known…until now! Today, he enjoys playing with his Mr. Hedgehog toy and he stays busy with his four canine brothers and sisters: Lolly, Merlin, Digby and Micheal.
