The Fourth of July is celebrated as a day of Freedom. We fought against the British to have a society of our own, free from others ruling us. But Freedom actually means to be free within yourself while helping to bring this freedom to others in our immediate surroundings and the world at large. We have recognized that we are All One and what affects one of us affects all of us.
On this Fourth of July, let us embrace our past and present in all its good and bad, so we have the Freedom to change our future.
